Travel Tips
- A valid passport is required for all travel to/from Mexico.
- If you will be traveling with a minor (person under the age of 18): If one or both of the parents will not be present, you must have the minor's passport along with a notarized letter from the other parent, or both parents giving permission to take that minor across the border into Mexico. We recommend that the letter clearly state the accompanying adult's name, as it appears on their passport.
- Always check with your airline regarding current policies regarding carry-on items and allowable baggage (such as bag size, rod tube length etc.).
- You may not have any hooks, knives, or sharp implements in your carry-on luggage.
- Plan to carry your reels, camera, medications, other valuables, and a change of clothes with you in your carry-on bag. You may be required to strip line from reels upon returning from Mexico (inconsistent issue)
- Pro Bass Adventures offers a VIP/Tackle package for trips to Lake El Salto to reduce your packing and travel hassles.
- We have complimentary rods available, if you want to avoid the cost and hassle of checking a rod tube
- We have tackle to purchase at the lodge, but suggest you discuss with us and bring the appropriate
baits and lures for the timeframe/patterns you will be fishing. We will help you with the details, so you have the right stuff for your bass fishing trip.
